  • Beware of COVID-19 scams
We have been made aware from a member of a scam relating to COVID-19 spot checks.  We understand that an individual from a third-party company, in this case ‘Rundles Ltd’, presents at a premises with the attached ‘Letter of Authority’ from the HSE.
The HSE have confirmed that this letter is not legitimate and that any visit to a premises will be conducted by an official HSE inspector with the appropriate HSE ID.
When an HSE inspector calls:
•            Whilst HSE inspectors have the authority to enter your workplace, they must still follow the government’s code of practice on entering businesses.
•               In all cases local access and security procedures must be properly followed.
•               The HSE can be contacted on 0300 790 6787 (08.30am to 5pm) and will be able to confirm whether a visit is legitimate or not.
