Crime in the Village

The police have informed the Parish Council of a large increase in crime in the village, especially theft and vehicle related crime.

The police have issued the following advice:
  • Ensure house and car keys are hidden from view, especially if you drive BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, or a high value vehicle.
  • Double check your vehicle is locked in case a signal blocker is used.
  • Ensure all valuables are removed from your vehicles.
  • If own or use a van containing work tools, consider removing them overnight.

If you see any suspicious vehicles or activities, try to get the VRM and report signings to Leicestershire Police on
101.
