Flood Grants

NWLDC Flood Support Scheme, in particular the £5000 Resilience Grant Applications. For those still unaware or unsure, please see the information here: https://www.nwleics.gov.uk/pages/flood_support_scheme.

These grants are a rare opportunity for the victims of flooding to obtain substantial financial support from Local and National Government. With climate change predictions worsening and flood risk increasing, I strongly recommend anyone who is eligible for the funding to apply for the scheme, as these sort of events are not only going to reoccur, but become more common in the near future. Please feel free to pass this detail to neighbours, residents and friends who have suffered internal flooding and may also be eligible.

Please contact the NWLDC team at flooding@nwleicestershire.gov.uk if you need any kind of assistance with any aspect of the application process.
