NWLLSA Sport and Health Awards

What are they?

The annual NWLLSA Sport and Health Awards is a glamorous evening awards ceremony attended each year by over 500 local people. It is held to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions made by local people of all ages to sport, physical activity and health across North West Leicestershire. Categories include; Schools of the year, Sportsperson of the year, Senior coach/volunteer of the year, Healthy lifestyle award, Community award, Outstanding contribution award, Active age award (please see nominations form attached for full details).

Why do we have them?

The sport and health awards is a platform to share and celebrate the achievements and contributions local people are making to sport, physical activity and health right now. It is also a great way to inspire and empower more people to join in and get active.

How can you get involved?

To get involved and support this year's event you can;
  1. Nominate - If you think you know someone who deserves to win one of our awards and be recognised for their achievements, please complete our online nomination form here. Please also share this with any other contacts you see appropriate.

  3. Join in the conversation - Join the buzz by following our Facebook page or Twitter page where all things Sports and Health Awards will be posted. Also join in using #ProudNWL #Activity4All
